Dr. Li’s professional path led to hearing research after obtaining a PhD, and she distinguished herself with more than 100 publications. Since earning a AuD, the Doctor focuses exclusively on clinical audiology, where she helps people feel younger and live more actively!
The doctor is Board Certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology, She is a fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA), and a Gold member of the American Tinnitus Association.
Dr. Li-Korotky has 20+ years of clinical and research experience, with more than 100 scientific publications, so she is uniquely qualified to diagnose, successfully treat, and counsel you on the many variations and causes of hearing disorders, using the most advanced technology and treatment solutions in the Region.

The Doctor is married to Josh Korotky (right). Their son David (below), graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, and recently joined the staff as an Audiologist Assistant, with additional responsibilities in billing, insurance, and Hearing Technology (see below).
Dr. Benner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders at Southwest Missouri State University, and then a Doctor of Audiology degree at Missouri State University. The Doctor is Board Certified in Audiology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Missouri Academy of Audiology, and she received a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).
After graduating, Doctor Benner spent 10 years in Private Practice, diagnosing and treating a wide range of hearing loss problems in patients ranging from pediatric to elderly populations. During this period Dr. Benner gained extensive expertise in fitting and programing the right hearing aids for each patient’s degree and type of hearing loss, and she developed a reputation of never giving up on her patients. Dr. Benner can also help you with the hearing tech of tomorrow, including wireless solutions for Apple, Android, and other smart devises, so she can keep you connected to your world! The bottom line? Our Audiology Assistant
An Audiology Assistant is also a Hearing Technology Specialist!
Our Audiologist Assistants are skilled hearing technology experts who perform important support technical functions on behalf of and under the supervision of our Doctors. They assist our audiologists with audiometric tests, maintain audiological equipment, clean and repairs hearing aids, and help with a variety of patient support functions.
In addition to assisting our doctors, our Audiologist Assistants must continually upgrade their knowledge of hearing aid technology trends in order to optimize the patient hearing experience.
To be an Audiologist Assistant at Pacific Northwest Audiology, candidates must have relevant academic credentials and experience, an ability and desire to gain extensive technical expertise, and a VERY strong customer service orientation.
Hearing Technology Specialist David graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Honors College at the University of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh PA. David is also working independently toward completing a Bachelor of Science degree in software engineering. As an Audiology Assistant, David will assist our audiologists with audiometric tests, maintain audiological equipment, clean and repairs hearing aids, and help with a variety of patient support functions. As a Hearing Technology Specialist, David will demonstrate technology trends in our new Hearing Innovations Center, an interactive platform for showing how blue tooth, streaming technologies, and hearing apps can extend the practical use of hearing aids. In essence, David will show you how new technologies can “bring the world” to your hearing aids! Strap yourself in…it’s going to be a wild ride!
Josh is a U.S. Army veteran (1966-1969) and recently retired (2011) from the National Weather Service, where he served as a Science and Operations Officer (SOO). Josh worked on severe storm radar detection methods and developed advanced forecast and warning programs for the National Weather Service.
For his science, operational, and warning accomplishments, Josh received numerous awards, including the Research Achievement Award, a Special Lifetime Achievement Award, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Administrators Award.
As the Marketing Director for Pacific Northwest Audiology, Josh is responsible for web site development and finding ways to distinguish our practice from all other practices…everywhere! He works hard to ensure an information rich web site filled with original and up-to-date content/graphics, HD videos, and eGuides…all presented in a way to maximize communication rather than jargon.
Josh and the Doctor collaborate to create original hearing-related content for the web site, Facebook, and the Pacific Northwest Audiology Blog. They have gone to great lengths to provide a unique environment and an exceptional patient-centered experience.
Josh is happily married to Ha-Sheng and thrilled to be working together on developing the premiere Audiology clinic in Bend.
Our Audiology Fellow
An Audiology Fellow Has completed all their academic requirements, and only needs to fulfill a one year externship to obtain a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree.
A Doctor of Audiology degree generally requires 4 years of undergraduate study and an additional 4 years of specialized academic work, including high-level training in the prevention, identification, assessment, and treatment of hearing disorders. Their extensive academic credentials, professional certification, and licensure, allow Audiologists to provide a full range of professional services, from consultation and diagnosis, to hearing aid fitting and programming, to post-fitting counseling and rehabilitation. Take away any of these services and you no longer have comprehensive hearing care!
Becki completed her academic requirements for a Doctor of Audiology degree (AuD) at A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences. Now she is completing a one year fellowship with Pacific Northwest Audiology, and will be awarded her Doctor of Audiology degree next June! Jean graduated with highest honors from Central Oregon Community College (COCC) with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Information Technology. She earned a Certificates in Coding Competency, Medical Insurance Specialist, Medical Billing Specialist, and Medical Office Specialist, and Passed Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and certified Coding associate (CCA) National Credentials. In other words, she knows her stuff! Jean’s well rounded Medical Billing Experience includes Accounts receivable; Insurance billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance; Reconciliation of insurance conflicts; and Prior authorization and insurance verification.
Most important, Jean understands that patient satisfaction is the life blood of any clinic, so she will work hard to be your advocate and intermediary with insurance companies!
Jean’s Affiliations include the American Health Information Management Association and the Oregon Health Information Management Association.
