Our Audiologist Assistants are also Hearing Technology Specialists!
Our Audiologist Assistants are skilled hearing technology experts who perform important support technical functions on behalf of and under the supervision of our Doctors. They assist our audiologists with audiometric tests, maintain audiological equipment, clean and repairs hearing aids, and help with a variety of patient support functions.
In addition to assisting our doctors, our Audiologist Assistants must continually upgrade their knowledge of hearing aid technology trends in order to optimize the patient hearing experience.
As Hearing Technology Specialists, the Audiologist Assistants demonstrate technology trends in our new Hearing Innovations Center, an interactive platform for showing how blue tooth and streaming technologies can extend the practical use of hearing aids. In essence, they show how these new technologies can “bring the world” to a user’s hearing aids!
To be an Audiologist Assistant at Pacific Northwest Audiology, candidates must have relevant academic credentials and experience, an ability and desire to gain extensive technical expertise, and a VERY strong customer service orientation.
